The first official General Assembly of EDINNA (Education in Inland Navigation) has taken place in Rotterdam. The meeting of directors and managers of inland navigation schools and training institutes on the 4th and 5th of February is the next step in the advancement of the network after the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding in Strasbourg in June 2008. >>>>read more |

New school boat for Wallonia: Libertas II to bring

The inland navigation shipping school of Huy in Wallonia will be granted ERDF funds as well as financial support from the Wallonian government and the province of Liège to build the Libertas II, the successor of the 80 year old Libertas the “bateau-école” or school boat which has made the school a great engine for new jobs in the inland navigation profession for the last 28 years.>>>>read more |
